15 Creamy Goat Cheese Pasta Recipes

15 Creamy Goat Cheese Pasta Recipes

Sharing is caring!

I am obsessed with goat cheese (also called chevre). Not only is it my favorite cheese to just eat on crackers, but the sheer amount of dishes it tastes good in is just incredible! Possibly my favorite meal to add goat cheese to is pasta. Yummm. Apart from just throwing chunks on top of pasta and tomato sauce, I’ve tried some absolutely mind-blowing creamy goat cheese pasta recipes that I wanted to share with you.

Surprisingly enough, I never even tried goat cheese until I was 23 years old. I’ll never forget that first taste of herbed goat cheese spread on a cracker that I was somewhat nervous to even try. But after that first bite, I was hooked. Its creamy texture and slightly tangy taste is delicious unflavored, but also pairs well with many ingredients.

Here is some advice on buying goat cheese: it’s all good. Even the cheapest goat cheese I’ve ever found at a store did not disappoint me in any way. With that being said, I suggest buying cheap goat cheese to use in recipes and only splurging on expensive flavored brands when you plan to eat it on crackers.

I personally get my inexpensive, unflavored goat cheese from Sam’s Club. Not only is it affordable at $5.98, but you get 16 ounces for that price! For context, at my local grocery store, a 4 oz log of unflavored chevre is $4.49. When I’m craving a recipe with goat cheese, I buy the large quantity from Sam’s Club and then freeze whatever I don’t use so it doesn’t go bad.

Anyway, I just want you to be fully up-to-snuff on best goat cheese buying practices! Now, let’s get to the stuff you came here for. Without further ado, here are 15 creamy goat cheese pasta recipes you NEED to try as soon as possible.
